How it works

It’s a simple as it sounds: we’re a library that lends tools! The Klamath Tool Library (KTL) is a project of Klamath Sustainable Communities, and we are committed to empowering our community by providing low-cost access to tools.

To become a member, borrowers must:

(a) Provide proof of age (minimum 18 years) and complete a Membership Application and Agreement,
(b) Present a valid, government-issued photo ID and proof of residency represented by official mail or current document containing your current Upper Klamath Basin address (e.g., utility bill, mortgage statement, lease agreement, insurance statement, or auto registration) that falls within KTL service area in the Upper Klamath Basin
(c) Agree to comply with the terms of this Lending Policy,
(d) Sign the KTL Waiver and Indemnification Agreement, and
(e) Pay an optional $15.00 per year membership fee to help support this valuable community, non-profit, all volunteer resource.

KTL is a not-for-profit venture, run by a volunteer committee.
